Glass Suncatcher - Morel Mushrooms

Handmade suncatcher using the Tiffany (copperfoil) method; interior finished with copper patina, and framed with lead came in black patina.
Morel mushrooms in soft brown and beige glass, with mossy green surrounds. Two secure hanging loops.
Measures 16cm in length and 10cm in width. Total length when hanging is 27cm with brown leather cord.
Packaged with recycled materials to avoid generating unnecessary waste! Can be shipped within NZ and worldwide.
The inspiration:
Inspired by a recent trekking expedition in Chilean Patagonia, the morel mushroom is a camouflage expert. A delicacy in North and South America, morels were plentiful in the coigüe forests through which we travelled.
Care:
- Made with materials that contain lead. The risk is minimal, but as a precaution wash hands after handling to avoid ingesting particles.
- Best kept inside for longevity.
