The inspiration:
Endemic to Aotearoa, mountain horopito/pepper tree is prolific in many areas of the bush due to the spiciness of its leaves: the deer, goats and possums can’t stand it! Horopito is often one of the first species to regenerate an area following a slip, and its leaves have been known to be referred to by some as ‘ice cream leaf’, to trick unsuspecting companions into a fiery mouthful.

Care:
- Made with materials that contain lead. The risk is minimal, but as a precaution wash hands after handling to avoid ingesting particles.
- Best kept inside for longevity.
