Hi, I’m Aja. I am an artist of many mediums.
I was born in the USA but have lived in NZ since 2008. I became a full-time artist in 2000 when I started my career in the body modification world as an award winning piercer-turned-tattoo artist. I created my own brand, FetBlod, to celebrate this area of my creativity.

Outside of tattooing, when I’m not spending time with my five fur kids and amazing husband, I can be found adventuring in the garden, crafting potions with essential oils, weaving on my loom or painting my dreams onto canvas with oil paints in my new painting studio.

Since October 2022, I have been going through the breast cancer battle. With not being able to work through my treatment, I was inspired to start my metamorphosis as Wolf & Rosehip. This celebrates the very essence that drives me to create in all mediums.

This metamorphosis inspired me to start a blog. Not long after that, I started a Patreon account which helps support my evolution as an artist of many mediums. I have been able to produce creations to sell on my online shop as I keep pushing forward with new creative goals. My hopes are to continue to pursue my lifelong dream of one day being a full time painter.
