I started Lost Kisses out of a need to keep myself busy while dealing with the aftermath of burnout.
After discussing this idea with my aunt, who is a seamstress both by passion and profession, and also happens to be the one who taught me how to sew, she made it possible for me to receive a small box, coming all the way across the
Pacific Ocean containing a handful of meters of lace and elastics she specially picked for me to share my new journey from the distance.
All the pattern making, and sewing are done by me from my own living room using a domestic Singer sewing machine, although some pieces are finished by hand when needed.
The laces and fabrics are all acquired in small batches, making every piece one of a kind.
This is a project of reclaiming my own identity, stepping out of my comfort zone while hoping to make a difference on how we see ourselves when we are alone in front of a mirror, because feeling beautiful and comfortable starts within us.
Thank you for stopping by.
