I love working as a full-time artist from my central Dunedin studio!

I draw inspiration for my original woodcut prints, oil paintings and pastels from the landscape around me, including the nearby Orokonui Ecosanctuary which is home to many endangered species.

I gained a diploma of Fine Arts with Honours in Printmaking in 1990 and a Master of Fine Arts in Painting in 2003.

I am part of a creative partnership with my husband Rudie Verhoef who is best known for building Fleur’s place at Moeraki.
