Hi,
My name is Alison (my friends call me Ali), I have three grown up daughters, and my three adorable and fun-to-hang-out-with grandchildren who call me G.G. (cos Grandma makes me sound really old)!

I love to sew and create things. I made my first skirt at school (manual) and have always loved making and designing things. When I was a teenager, I made my big sister a guitar cover out of vinyl. It would be so retro now.
I made my own wedding dress and more recently designed and made a wedding dress for each of my two daughters plus made and designed three bridesmaids dresses. Sometimes I make/use things by recycling bits and pieces I have collected.

I've done a lot of sewing and crafting over the years - making lots of clothes for my children as they were growing up but as they went through teenage years, often home-made wasn't trendy enough. ;)

For a few years, I was unable to work due to family and health reasons but I was able to do some volunteer work for a foot clinic in my community. I learned a lot from the elderly people as I massaged their feet.
Rather than trying to get back into the workforce, I am making cute children's clothes and various fabric crafted pieces for use around the home.
