I am number three of five 'crafty' sisters. I started making dolls clothes when I was six, under instruction from my mother who made most of our clothes. Back then we all wore frilly cotton frocks so it was quite an effort.

As teenagers Mum would only let us watch TV if we did some activity at the same time; knitting & embroidery were my activities of choice.

Not all of us embraced this with enthusiasm at the time; but all came to see the value as time passed.

I love working with textiles but have recently branched out in to wire crochet and silver jewellery.
I am inspired by nature and I also like to bring movement in to my jewellery.
