I'm a Christian, musician (piano/keyboard, brass and a bit of singing), widow, Mum of two adult children, and Nana of Alexandra and Hannah. I embrace IT, love maths, and tend to rant about bad spelling and grammar. I'm interested in the cosmos, weather (especially extreme stuff), photography, and enjoy a variety of music genres. I work as a financial administrator, I do handcrafts and occasional scrapbooking in my (extremely scarce) spare time and am currently writing vol. 2 of the family history of my children's ancestors. My roots are in the Horowhenua, but I lived in Christchurch from late May 2008 to Dec 2010, and absolutely loved it.
