Silver is a finn/romney cross and as a lamb he produced this beautiful silvery grey-and-white fleece. It's an unusual colour that changes colour along the staple, with dark tips and paler towards the cut end.
It has a lovely soft handle, good lustre and the locks separate very easily. Average staple length is 7-8cm so most suited to long draw spinning for a soft woollen yarn.We think this fleece would be suitable for clothing to wear next to skin. Very clean fleece with minimal VM. Expected yield 75%
