Vintage silk kimono Scrunchie

Hena Hena's scrunchies are not only super cute but are so soft and much gentler on your hair. They don't leave any kinks where your hairstyle has been because silk is so similar to our own hair, that's due the molecular structure of the silk itself.
Silk is also breathable and has anti-allergenic, anti-bacterial and anti-mildew properties, helping to keep your hair in great condition.

All scrunches are upcycled from vintage Japanese silk kimono.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes, colour fade, old smell etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
