Vintage Kimomo silk 3/4 Length Wide Pants
These stylish wide leg & 3/4 lengtg pants are made from vintage silk Oshima tsumugi. Simple yet versatile design. It has two seam pockets on both sides.
Oshima tsumugi is one one the most luxurious and higly ranked woven silk fabrics in Japan. Since 1300 years ago it has been made by a unique dyeing method using mud and they have gathered the eternal admiration of all japanese women for its sumptuous shine, touch and rustles on the skin. I hope you enjoy this noble silk which represents traditional artisan skills.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes and colour fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
