Sea Foam Rag Rug
Sea Foam is a twined rag rug made from recycled cotton and polycotton bed sheets.
The sheets have been torn into strips and are woven into a rug on a simple wooden frame called a twining frame. It's a time-consuming, but therapeutic, process tearing the 4-5 sheets required for each rug. It is an interesting journey rescuing the fabric (sometimes from going to landfill), selecting the colours, then watching as the colours and patterns transform into a pleasing weaving. It is very rewarding to watch otherwise ugly fabric transform into something beautiful.
Sea Foam is thick and soft and very comfortable on the feet. It would make a beautiful addition to a bathroom or bedroom.
