Vintage kimono silk dress

Tasteful vintage silk kimono is made into a lovely dress with a sash belt. The silk is soft crepe and drapey.

This dress is assembled from four panels and features a split V-neckline in the front and back. A minimal design that lets the fabric speak for itself. A matching waist sash is repurposed from the original kimono collar and lined with an eyecatching red silk from the original kimono lining.

Enjoy the sash to waist mark like a traditional Obi or wear it as a matching long scarf around your neck. Loose style without the sash belt not only looks so cool but also feels so comfortable even in very warm days.
One of a kind.

Dear customers,
Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are impoirted from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes and colour fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
Thank you for supporting my small handmade business.

*Vintage condition is described by three levels.
Excellent (no obvious faults), Very good (with some faults but not disturbing) , Good (with some faults that might be disturbing)
