Eye catching shu-iro, orangeish red vintage kimono with a pretty camellia pattern was transformed into a lovely dress with a tie on one side, which enable you to blouse the dress at the waist. Its silk is so soft and drapey.
Its small french sleeves make your arms look feminine and thinner actually. I call them magic sleeves!

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are impoirted from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes and colour fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
