Made from kuro tomesode, the most formal black kimono, which has rich vintage taste with ume (plum flower), chrysanthemums and other Japanese flower.
This top is designed pretty roomy so drape beautifully.
Enjoy this one of a kind top all year round, even cooler seasons with long sleeve thermal underneath.

vintage condition : Good. The middle back panel has some browning because of its age. (Please see 3rd photo) When looked closer, they are relatively obvious but not so disturbing from the distance.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are impoirted from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes and colour fade along with faluts described at “vintage condition” above. However, they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
