Vintage kimono silk dress
Made from a lovely pastel pink vintage silk kimono with a tasteful cloud and circle pattern. Fabric has a very soft touch and drapes beautifully.
You can waist-make by pulling belts at the both sides or just enjoy a relaxed lovely A line dress!
I recommend to wear a slip underneath as this fabric is semi transparent.
The snood shown on the third photo sold separately for $49.

lining : no lining
vintage condition : very good (with some vague grey lines from a original kimono)

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are impoirted from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes and colour fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
