Warm merino vintage stitch scarf

If you are looking for a warm, in trend scarf that will stand out, this is for you. This is 100% natural merino, soft and warm in lovely subtle beige/blush and grey/taupe tones with contrasting khaki and aubergine. Designed to have a vintage feel, it was inspired by an old Biba poster. I knitted this lovely piece in blocks and stripes of colour adding rows of tuck stitch to pop against contrasting colours. It was great fun to knit, colour mixing like a painting, free flow from one end to the middle then reversing all the way to the end. The end result is symmetrical. You can wear it many ways to highlight different parts of the pattern. All needle selection, in this scarf was done by hand as is all colour changing, sewing in ends etc. This yarn is a very good quality, top end, smooth spun fashion Merino, soft, luxurious yet robust and washable.
