Tropical Fruit earrings: dyed jade beads on long, antiqued copper ear-wires
These earrings feature semiprecious jade beads that have been dyed in juicy, tropical colours of red, yellow, and green. They are clasped by antiqued-copper coloured bead caps, and dangle from arched, antiqued (artificially aged), copper ear-wires.
I rarely use semiprecious stones that have been altered in colour, as I prefer natural stones; however, these colourful beads are so fun and gorgeous that I couldn't resist them. The rich colours meld into one another like the juices in a traffic-light cocktail.
This is the last pair of these earrings available.
These earrings measure 53mm from top to bottom. From the bottom of the ear-wires, the fruity drops measure 22mm in height, including the wire-wrapping, and 12mm across.
The ear-wires are copper based and are without nickel.
