You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.

Having been raised largely with the idea of self-sufficiency, that meant sewing, embroidery, and crafts of all kinds were always very much a part of my life. Even though I am now an urban dweller, I still maintain the self-sufficiency way of life as much as possible. I live in a small connected flat with only a small front yard, which I have turned into a tiny permaculture food forest.
I still do all my own baking, including bread; all my own preserving, including sauerkraut, kimchee, and other fermented vegetables; and cook everything from scratch. There is such a great deal of satisfaction from making beautiful and useful things from basic materials - whether it's a garden, food, clothing, or craft items and homewares.
