Manuka Tree studio is situated right on the edge of Ark in the Park native bird reserve, high in the beautiful Waitakere ranges. In the past, many native species of bird have disappeared from this area and are now being reintroduced to the reserve including the endangered kōkako and hihi (stitchbird).

My studio is surrounded by lush native bush and ancient giant kauri, while only 15 minutes from the rugged and windswept West Coast at Te Henga/Bethells Beach.

Our house has been full of animals since as long as I can remember and find an endless source of beauty, inspiration as well as great fun in them all, both wild and members of the family!!

My work includes an eclectic mix of whimsical pet-inspired humour and pieces that reflect my deep rooted love of the stunning New Zealand landscape and our abundant flora & fauna.
