Hand Carved Mushroom & Bee Spoon
Hand-carved from a freshly pruned olive tree branch salvaged from the neighborhood, this spoon was crafted using traditional tools, including an axe, carving knives, and gouges/chisels.
The bowl is lightly sanded for a smooth matte finish before the pattern is applied. The design was created using kolrosing, an ancient Scandinavian decorative technique. This involves fine cuts made with a sloyd knife, then rubbed with coffee or cinnamon grounds to naturally darken the lines.

Hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe.
