Stained Glass Vulva - Fern and Monarch Butterfly Wing Centre
Prompted by conversations with the treasured women in my life, these beauties are inspired by femininity, love and the cycles of birth/life/death.
Vagina, fanny, pussy, yoni; call it what you will, it’s all beautiful and unique, and so are these stained-glass representations. No two are ever the same.
Constructed using the Tiffany method. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, smoothed and copper-foiled then soldered using 60/40 lead/tin solder.
Opaque blue glass surrounds the central area, featuring a pressed fern leaf and a genuine monarch butterfly wing. The fern has been sprayed with floral paint to ensure it stays green forever, with the glass retaining it's full vibrancy for all time. There's a tiny blue flower right at the bottom of the central area which is very tricky to capture in the photos.
Measures 14cm in height, 8cm in width and a total length of 27cm including the hanging Tiger-tail wire.
Super-packed in a polystyrene and bubble-wrap sandwich, this can be delivered anywhere within NZ as well as anywhere on the planet. Any question just ask!
