Cherry Wood Bowl

This is a one off piece that was hand turned in my small home workshop and is made from a Prunus Campanulata Cherry tree that unfortunately had to be removed from my garden some time ago. It has produced what I think is an outstanding example of the beauty of this type of Cherry wood.

It's colour is rather unusual with a nice red/pink brown hue and is perfect for either keeping small items in one place, keeping mouth watering treats in, or keeping it on display. This wooden Cherry bowl approximately is 180mm wide and 75mm tall, is finished in low sheen and food safe Carnauba wax.

To keep it looking lovely, just give it an occasional wipe with a soft cloth or use a good quality furniture polish, just as you would with any fine furniture.
