Abstract wet felted fibre art in red, blue and green, evoking the Pohutukawa trees that line the Pacific coast of Aotearoa New Zealand. Pendant is mounted on a bronze coloured metal pendant.
My fibre art is created using high quality New Zealand Merino wool fibre which is hand prepared into layers. Hand dyed silk fibres and wool fibres are laid out on the surface to form the design. The piece is then wet felted by hand.
The pendant is strung on a quality 45cm, hypoallergenic, red coloured wire choker. It has a secure magnetic clasp.
