Acorn pendant - fused glass

This listing is for a fused glass acorn pendant that is approx 18mm in diameter. It has been cast from a real acorn to create a miniature version of the real thing.

This acorn was cast from powdered glass using a technique called pate-de-verre meaning "paste of glass".
This process creates three-dimensional items in glass without the use of high temperature molds. The glass layers are then fused together at around 700C, creating kiln formed fused glass.

Light and easy to wear, each pendant is individually made, so your pendant is truly one of a kind. Due to it's handmade nature, your jewellery may have small imperfections and irregularities just like a real acorn. This is perfectly normal and should in no way affect the function or life of your item.
