Pottery Dish
Organically Hand made/Hand Built Pottery at my home in North Canterbury. I only use high quality clay and glazes that are non toxic and food safe if/where they need to be. Whilst items are dishwasher safe I recommend handwashing to not only preserve the glaze but to ensure longevity and no random dishwasher accidents. Due to the nature of my work being hand built no two pieces are the same.
This unique dish has been constructed (and monitored over many hours during the drying process) with textured speckled clay strips. Finished in a variegated blue glaze. It measures (at it's largest points): 18cm wide x 8.5cm high.
The way the glaze has caught and settled on the textures and strips make this piece beautiful on its own as a decor piece with your home. The added bonus of the speckles in the clay peeking through only adds to its uniqueness.
This does also work well as a fruit bowl.
