ARTIST SECONDS Set of 2 Original Linocuts - Bikers Biking and Trampers Tramping

*THIS LISTING IS FOR ARTIST SECONDS. These prints have not made it into the edition for various reasons such as patchy ink, splotches or blurred lines. I haven't taken photos of these.*


‘Bikers Biking’ was inspired by mountain biking through varied west coast landscapes on the Old Ghost Rd. Lush green rainforests, rugged mountain tops and open valleys all whilst being so far removed from everyday life.

‘Trampers Tramping’ was inspired by New Zealand/Aotearoas incredible network of backcountry tramps. It gives a feeling of the grand scale of the natural world that you journey through as you travel by foot in the backcountry. Mountains and ridges stretch out before you and the alpine tracks allow you to see not only what lies ahead but also reflect on the distances and obstacles already traversed.

Approximately 38cm x 28cm printed on fawn coloured Stonehenge paper, with 1 deckled edge and 2 torn edges.

All of my artworks are hand-printed, with either the back of my hand, a spoon or a baren. This means that some prints may have small differences depending on how much ink or pressure was applied.

These prints will be posted in a mailing tube, if you would rather it mailed flat, please let me know and I can sort something else out. There may be an additional cost to posting it flat.
