The single red rose, a symbol of love, passion, romance and devotion. The red rose became a symbol of love until death. According to legends surrounding the ancient Romans, wealthy Romans associated the flowers from red roses with beauty and love.
For each of these beautiful roses the flower petals, leaves and thorns have been constructed out of recycled corrugated iron featuring its original paint whilst the good old number 8 fencing wire wrapped with a spiral of copper wire completes the stem.
The roses are approximately 32cm long and flowers are 10cm in diameter.
The roses are designed to be able to be used both inside and outside and when subjected to natures elements will continue to grow a beautiful patina.
