Big Bunny's Hosta Mix (Ornamental)

Hostas are a low-growing, easy care ornamental loved by gardeners as much for their gorgeous heart-shaped leaves as their mauve or white flowers. They die back over winter but will sprout from their rhizomes again in spring.

Sow in seed trays and prick out into pots to grow on until the plants are big enough to go out into the garden. Beware - slugs love them just as much as we do, so be vigilant with slug control.

Hostas are the perfect plant to fill in a shady spot - they are happiest out of the sun. They thrive in damp conditions, so if your shady spot is a bit dry make sure they are well watered and mulched.
