A genuine 'Giclée Fine Art' print taken from an artwork titled 'Oak Leaves and the Elements' by artist / printmaker Keeley Eastwood.
The original artwork is a handmade gel plate monoprint forming part of Keeley's wider leaf monoprint project.
Inkjet ink on Epson Cold Press 310gsm paper (archival fine art quality inks and papers known for their longevity and clarity.)
Hand signed and dated by the artist before shipping.
Size of image (same as original): 200mm (w) x 255mm (h)
Size of paper: 239mm (w) x 314mm (h)
Generous white border around the image allows for easy framing.
Comes with the artist's write-up about the artwork attached to the backing board.

Artist's statement:
“I found the Turkey Oak leaves I used to make this artwork while out on a family walk around our local Whanganui attraction ‘Virginia Lake.’ With their narrow form and serrated edges they are quite different from the usual oak leaf shape we’re more used to, but for me they’re still beautiful.
From memory, this artwork was the first ever leaf monoprint I pulled from my gel plate and I was instantly taken with its colour and textural qualities. They brought to mind the relentless battering that leaves take from the incessant elements − in particular autumn leaves and those brave few stragglers left hanging on the tree in the winter months.
And yet, despite the lashings of rain, wind, snow and ice, the leaves in the artwork give the impression of being swept upwards. They’re uplifted somehow − dancing and animated – alive with movement!”
