"Cabulloon" Silver Ring

This is a ring that represents the idea of HOPE. I think of it as a cocoon, from which a butterfly is waiting to pop out to open its wings!
I also like it a lot for its simplicity.
It is hollow for two reasons:
to keep it light (thou its quite a chunky piece of jewellery), and to keep it affordable.
The technique used for this effect is hammering, and to close it up I built what we call "a shirt" inside it. It is very hard to achive the smooth looking between the two pieces, yet doable!
This is a 100% handmade, 100% silver ring.
