This board is made from Karamea Mottled Heart Rimu.
Astoundingly rich, with intricate colours and patterns this timber is totally unique and very hard to obtain.
The grain is spectacular and the surface is very durable.
End grain boards are much kinder on your knives.
It measures 36cm x 25cm x 6.5cm thick and weighs a whopping 2.5Kg.
This board is handmade by myself and is a one off.
Finished in my own food safe oil and wax this board will last forever.
The wax highlights the grains and textures as well as protecting the surface leaving a light sheen to the timber.
