This listing is for a miniature replica clam shell pendant that is approx 22mm in diameter. It has been made out of glass, so that our real shells can stay where they belong - on the beach. Just a wee bit quirky, it looks just like a miniature version of the real thing.

This shell pendant was individually cast from powdered glass using a technique called pate-de-verre meaning "paste of glass".
This process creates three-dimensional items in glass without the use of high temperature molds. The glass layers are then fused together at around 700C, creating kiln formed fused glass.

Light and easy to wear, each pendant is individually made, so your pendant is truly one of a kind. Due to it's handmade nature, your jewellery may have small imperfections and irregularities. This is perfectly normal and should in no way affect the function or life of your item.
