This is the top of Rapaki track that overlooks Lyttleton. This iconic view can be seen from Cass Bay Beach carpark, one of the many bays that line the shore of the Lyttelton inlet.
The original photo was taken by Helen Griffiths, a Christchurch based photographer and painted with her permission.
Originally exhibited at the 2021 Dunedin Art Show.
