A one-of-a-kind naturally dyed silk scarf, created from a soft and luxurious habotai silk that has been dyed and printed with onion skins, garden grown coreopsis and sulphur cosmos to give a rich and earthy design and a depth of colour that changes with the light. Kind to your skin and the perfect incubator to keep off the chill during the colder months, this is a unique and versatile accessory that can be worn on so many different occasions, or would make an excellent gift.

Natural dyes are used in the creation of this textile piece as an eco-friendly alternative to their synthetic counterparts. They are not only planet friendly, but they produce a lustre and complexity unlike synthetic dyes. There are steps taken in the natural dye process to ensure that these prints and colours are durable and long-lasting. Because they are created by nature, some colours may shift or patina over time, especially if exposed to the sun for long periods of time.

We recommend washing only when needed. When you do, handwash / gentle machine wash the outer silk cover only, with a mild eco-friendly detergent on cold. When drying, do so in shade and when not being used keep out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Photos are taken in natural light and closely represent their actual colour, but please note that it is possible the colour may differ slightly from the picture on your screen.
