Remarkables mountain by West Moor Illustrations
The Remarkables mountain range is located in Queenstown, New Zealand.
The inspiration for this Remarakles mount range art print came from a friend who won an Instagram competition I ran a while ago. I instantly fell in love with the photograph when she sent it to me. The textures, shapes and sizes of the mountains, hills and lakes surrounding the Mountain Range really jumped out to me.
This hand-drawn print was illustrated from a photograph taken of the Remarkables Mountain Range in Queenstown, New Zealand on a summers day.

The process for drawing my art here at West Moor Illustrations always starts with hand-drawn using pen & paper. I usually prefer to use sharpies because I cannot rub out the ink. Most of my art print illustrations are in a single continuous line style. The original art pieces are then photocopied into adobe illustrator to create the outlines, add the colour and add any texture or background to the art print.
