"Scurrying Clouds" Fused Glass Sculpture

This freestanding sculptural piece is made from layers of fused glass to depict the range of colours of New Zealand's sky and sea. It features some pieces of iridescent glass which is coated with a thin metal film and shimmers in the light. The glass is mounted in a black metal stand. It looks great against a wall or on a window sill.

The glass has been fused at a lower temperature than usual which retains the texture and dimension of the glass, giving it greater depth. The piece measures 200mm wide x 200mm including the metal stand.
