This climber is great for small gardens. The stunning scarlet flowers herald long green pods that are best picked at about 1 cm wide. Delicious fresh, they can also be chopped, blanched and cooled quickly to freeze for winter feasts.
Plant in spring when the soil is warming and all risk of frosts has passed.
