Kiwi Face Oil

This wonderful face oil is completely made (100%) with ingredients GROWN IN NZ. A truely, local and sustainable face oil! I love using oils on my face and I do love oils such as rosehip and jojoba but they are all imported from far away - lots of air miles!

So, I was very excited to be able to source some oils grown in NZ and be able to create a really great face oil. I have been using this oil for a few weeks now and I am really happy with how it works for my mature, sun damaged skin.

Made with the following oils GROWN IN NZ:

Hemp seed oil – Hemp seed is anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing, balances dry skin, fights skin inflammations, helps heal skin lesions, has antioxidants, and contains moisture balancing properties. The oil is non-greasy, readily absorbs into the pores, is an emollient, and has rejuvenating and moisturising properties for the skin.

Avocado seed oil - Avocado oil is ultra rich and contains high amounts of vitamin A, B1, B2, D and E, as well as amino acids, pantothenic acid, lecithin and other essential fatty acids. It is a wonderful emollient and promotes cellular regeneration. It can be used for all skin types especially post-menopausal skin, dry, dehydrated, fragile or mature skin.

Grape Seed Oil - Grape seed oil is a polyunsaturated oil rich in linoleic acid and penetrates quickly, leaving no oily residue.

Olive Oil – Olive oil is great for wound healing, dry sking, eczema and aging skin.

Borage seed oil - Borage oil has also been used to treat people with atopic dermatitis (eczema), skin inflammation, dryness, scaliness, and itch. It is also used for wound healing and is particularly useful for mature skin.

Kiwi Seed Oil - Kiwi seed oil contains around 60% alpha linolenic acid (ALA) as well as being a rich source of Vitamin C and Vitamin E. The high concentrations of alpha linolenic acid (Omega-3) make it the perfect ingredient for natural skin care products, by helping to maintain moisture in the skin and hair, thus preventing drying and scaling of the hair and skin.
It is good for treating sensitive skin, oily skin, acne, psoriasis and eczema.

Black currant seed oil - Blackcurrant seed oil is useful in skincare products as an anti-inflammatory oil to ease muscular and joint aches and pains. It is very nourishing and revitalising for dry and damaged skin and excellent for ailments such as eczema and psoriasis. Also wonderful on sensitive skin and as an anti-ageing oil. It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin looking and feeling hydrated.
