Poncho, possum/merino/silk
These ponchos are handmade with the help of a vintage knitting machine.
They are a big rectangle, measuring approximately 60x140cm so one size fits all. I knit them in stockinette stitch with a 4cm border in tuck on the beginning and end which gives them a really nice finish. There are eight paua shell buttons to keep the poncho together but if you undo them you can wear it like a scarf or shrug as well!
These are fantastic for traveling as they've got so many uses, even as blanket or cushion but are equally wonderful at home on the sofa...
The yarn is a New Zealand blend of Possum, Merino and silk. It is super light and soft and amazingly warm. It comes in the colours coral, red, green, aqua, dusk, denim, grey, camel and black. Please leave your choice of colour in the "note to seller" when checking out.
Care instructions:
Cool gentle hand wash, dry flat in shade.
They also make great present for overseas as they are very light.
