Candles - pure beeswax
Burn 100% beeswax candles that are cleaner and brighter.
As someone who has always lit and burnt candles at home I was pretty horrified to find out a few years ago that most candles are petroleum based. How did I not know this?! When we started to keep bees the gorgeous and mild smell of pure beeswax encouraged me to begin candle making. What a joy (:
Our candles are 100% pure beeswax from our own hives. We manage the hives organically as much as we can and never use the wax if any varroa treatments have been required. They burn brighter, cleaner and longer than many other candles. A special treat.
As they are handmade there can be small imperfections. A white film called 'bloom' will appear over time on the candle surface. The bloom shows it's 100% beeswax and can be left on or is easy to rub off with a soft cloth. I like the rich, natural look of bloom but you may prefer a polished shiny look.
This is a 350g pillar candle with a burn time of 50+ hours. Enjoy the light!
