Bottlebrush/Seaglass Earrings
Bottlebrush/Seaglass Earrings.
Made from the wood of a bottlebrush tree, from one of my clients who wanted it removed.
It has an amazing grain, and colour in the wood.
Brown seaglass (from the West Coast) has been epoxyed into the wood.
Recycled copper wire was used, and finished with stainless steel hooks.
2 coats of natural oil has been applied to the wood.
The wood is 6.3cm long, 2.5cm at its widest, 9mm thick.
From the bottom of the hook, its 8cm long.
