This unique felted wool river stone pot holder will make a beautiful modern decor ornament you would choose for your home or as a gift.
The river stone is handcrafted entirely from NZ wool by wet felting.
I use natural biodegradable soap during the felting process.
Your planter is sturdy, functional, decorative and lightweight and the soft wool means no scratches on your furniture!
• Made from 100% NZ wool
The outer layer is light grey , grey and white and the inner is natural white wool from my own pet sheep Whoopsy
Measurements (approx.):
Height - 8-9 cm (3.1-3.5 ins)
Width - 10-11 cm (3.9-4.3 ins)
Diameter of opening - 6 cm (2.3 ins)
Weight: about 100-120g
Hosts a 5-6 cm (2-2.3") plant pot
This would make a unique gift as no two wet felted items are ever exactly the same.
Plant in plastic pot is not included !
Care instructions:
:-) Please protect wool planter from dripping water e.g. with a plastic foil underneath your plant :-)
It should not need washing as wool naturally repels dirt and odour. Shake or brush gently to remove dust. However , it can be gently washed in warm water by hand. It should then be well rinsed , excess moisture can be removed by gently pressing a tea towel inside with a towel underneath. The bowl generally holds its shape when washed.
