Fold formed leaf shawl pin with garnet beads

Handmade copper leaf shawl pin. Made with folded and hammered copper sheet metal, a pin of 14 gauge wire, and a cluster of genuine garnet chip beads. The leaf has been coloured with a heat patina - there is a slight iridescent sheen of greenish pink on the leaf. This pin is perfect to dress up knitted garments such as scarves and shawls. It is well suited to large and bulky knits, as the pin is a bit thicker. It measures approximately 9.5cm in length along the pin. The gemstone bead drop is 3.3cm long.
