Vintage Japanese Kimono Silk - Modernised Haori Cardigan - wine red - long

This is a one of a kind, contemporary style Haori cardigan, using vintage Japanese silk 100%, with collar and wide sleeves.
The silk was made in Tango (the old name for Kyoto, which used to be the capital of Japan) and the technique used to make this silk is called "Chirimen" (silk crepe). This technique makes silk more durable yet soft to touch.
The colour is bright wine red with beautiful red and white Tsubaki (camellia) flowers.
This cardigan can be worn casually with jeans or dressed up.
Medium size that would fit from NZ size 6 to NZ size 14.
neck to hem: 89cm (above knee)
back width: 60cm
Gentle hand wash, dry in between towels, dry in shade on flat surface.
Please note that this vintage fabric has slight discolouration.
