Black and White Fused Glass Striped Zebra Bowl

This bowl features black and stripes on a black background. The stripy pattern is created using glass powders which are fired at high temperatures, with each pattern being unique. As they often look like the spots or stripes of wild animals, I like to call items made using this technique Jungle Bowls.

As a result of the techniques used, the surface of the bowl is a combination of matt and gloss. The black stripes are glossy, and the white stripes are matte in their finish and texture. The reverse side of the bowl has a black satin finish.

The dish measures 170mm in diameter and is 55mm deep.
