Hand Crocheted Oscar the Octopus
Who'd love to see this 8 legged cutie on your kitchen bench? However, he's strictly inedible so he's definitely not on the menu!
Oscar the Octopus is lovingly hand crocheted from my home in New Zealand and is made from 100% cotton yarn and filled with polyester hobby fibrefill. Acrylic is substituted when cotton is unavailable.
Octopuses are widely considered to be amongst the most intelligent of all invertebrates. Well, I'm no expert but I can certainly agree that they must be one of the most dexterous!
Oscar sits 24cm (9.5 inches) tall. He measures 1 metre (39.5 inches) across at his widest point between tentacles on opposite sides.
Octopuses have 3 hearts all filled with love.
Oscar the Octopus would love to be owned by a little boy or girl who loves cuddles. With 8 arms, Oscar just loves cuddles!
Alternatively, he'd feel just at home with an adult who likes to play cards but you have to watch him - he's the master of the old sleight-of-hand.
Oscar the Octopus comes from a non-smoking, pet free home.
He is sea blue but if you'd prefer other colours, just let me know as Oscar can be made in any colour combination you like.
Gift wrapping available for additional $6. This includes wrapping, a bow and a personalised message on a card.
Warning: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Contains small parts. However, I can replace his plastic safety eyes with yarn eyes to make him safer for the younger kiddies.
