The Secret Garden: vintage-look wrap bracelet
This wrap-around bracelet consists of a single length of antiqued-brass coloured memory wire, threaded with 8mm imitation pearls in a gleaming, metallic taupe or pale beige. Every thirteenth bead is a ridged, antiqued-brass coloured metal bead, slightly smaller than the faux pearls.
Randomly distributed upon the bracelet are antiqued-brass coloured metal charms: a filigree leaf in a shape reminiscent of Indian designs, a wee bird (a robin, perhaps?), a ginkgo leaf, a butterfly, and an oak leaf. One end of the bracelet has a tiny key, with a heart-shaped bow, dangling from it, while the other end has a wire-wrapped glass leaf in glittering pale green, with an iridescent metallic coating on one side: the only touch of green in the garden.
Fans of Frances Hodgson Burnett's book 'The Secret Garden' will recognise the significance of some of these charms.
Memory wire is very strong and will hold its shape even under great stress — hence the name: the wire 'remembers' its shape. To wear this bracelet, simply wrap it around your wrist. It will stay there until you unwrap it — no clasp necessary.

'The Secret Garden' bracelet has an inside diameter of approximately 47mm, and will comfortably fit up to an 18.5cm wrist. It is designed to wrap four times, giving the appearance of four strands of beads around the wrist. This memory wire bracelet can be made to sit further up on the wrist, like a cuff bracelet, or it can be worn looser and low on the wrist. The slimmer your wrist, the looser the fit will be.
The tiny key charm is 20mm long, and the butterfly has a wingspan of 15mm.
