Reconstructed Wool Jersey - Size 12-14ish

The classic rethreads hooded jersey.

I've made and sold dozens of these. They are a lot of fun to make and colour block, and I think that joyfulness is somehow conveyed in the finished garments.

They are designed to fit snugly around the hips, or if you like a looser more 'boyfriendy' fit get a larger rather than a smaller size. I tend to put them on models who show the oversized way to wear them. Mine all fit morre snugly than that, and they look great!

The sleeves are generously long - sometimes ridiculously long, so if you like the look of sleeves draping over your hands you'll be happy. I also do big hoods, people love 'em or not. There really is no middle ground to hide in with these lovelies.

This is one of new 2013 jerseys. It's cut from a 1980's batwing jersey with a little house motive appliqued on the front. I was so excited to recut it and give it new life, I actually cannot wait for someone to buy it. The wild body is wool with hint of something else, likely nylon. The ribbing is a brand new wool/acrylic blend and the hood is merino. It's long and warm and out there.

As always, it pays to check the measurements against one of your favorites. These are taken with the body garment lying flat and unstretched:

Shoulders: 46cm
Underarm: 51cm
Sleeve: 74cm (underarm seam)
Length: 78cm
Length of center back of bodice: 50cm
Width of Ribbing: 43cm
