Butterfly necklace

The gorgeous pendant has been made by taking a vintage illustration of a butterfly, applying the paper image to 1/8" thick wood board and cutting with a laser cutting machine. Reverse is painted black, the butterfly is sealed with multiple coats of matte glaze, and a brass circle attachment is glued on to the pendant a little off-centre. The necklace measures just over 19 inches / 48cm long, and the butterfly has a 4.5cm wingspan.
